Chinese Sweet, Fragrant Melon

Fragrant?

That isn't a term we usually think of in relation to fruit.

We tried to smell it, and see was it indeed fragrant.

It had a slight sweet smell, but subtle.

I love how we have a glass table, and the dogs watch hopefully for fall out through the table...
Honey, was our first volunteer to try the fruit!

There was some discussion what the inside of the fruit would look like.
White. Orange. Green.  I through in purple for good measure.

Inside, it looked much like a honey doo melon.

Surprisingly or not, you decide.

It actually tasted a bit like a Honey Doo.

However, it was much sweeter!

Kids approved! Yum!

In other edible news. . .

I really like this stuff and ate the entire tin in 4 days,

with very minor help from Kayla. 

This is now on the banned from our house list!

Why is it so good???

I really don't like popcorn....
