Busy Week for sure!

Ok, PHEW! I made it through this week and so did everyone else... Here are some pics so you can feel like you were there too! LOL...

Logan left for AZ Weds night, pout...

Logan waving good bye as he was getting on the plane... )o:

The girl's got home from Girl's camp on Thursday! The girls had an excellent time and made lots of new friends. They are so cute they have been singing all the camp songs they learned since they got home. I think we all have them buzzing in our heads now too...

Kayla with her new friends right after getting back.

Krystin no worse for the wear after her first time to girl's camp.

Oh, and to make life seriously more interesting than it needed to bee... A swarm of bees decided to make a home right outside of Krystin's bedroom window, cute! Krystin is terrified of bees and her window wasn't shutting all the way (which posed a slight problem)... So, we called in the professionals....

Brave bee guy getting rid of the hive...

Friday the girls were ready to go explore that beach that I took Logan too. They approved and we had a lot of fun.

The two specs in the middle are my girls

Todd came home late last night (friday)! YAY!! (o: .... Sorry no pic for that one!

This morning was a big one for Krystin. A moment that she has been dying for forever it seems to her. After watching both of her siblings, complain, suffer and endure braces it was her turn to join the metal mouth club!!! She was SOO excited! I do believe she is the cutest!

Fresh shiney, new braces smile

To help ease Krystin's pain and suffering Todd and I took the bug to get some Jamba and a cuddly baby to rest her sore face on.

and ... Logan is finally home tonight, with my Dad. They drove together and met us at my Aunt Karen's house for my little Cousin Brittany's baby shower.

My Cousins Brittany & Bryan... Bryan was looking out for Brittany's new baby with some very thoughtful 'Butt Paste'... I don't know why, but that just made me Laugh!

Logan's new obsession

Todd shared with Logan one of his loves growing up, body boarding (or boogie boarding as I remember it being called back in the day). . . Logan was so cute today, he didn't want to get out of the ocean for anything. I took some pics with my phone (not the best quality).

Logan waiting for the perfect wave...

Woo-hoo...

Time to catch another wave....

It was so beautiful at the beach today, although a tiny bit chilly after playing in the water. We had been looking for just the right beach for Body Boarding and I think we finally found it! It is called Salt Creek Beach... Logan was so happy, because the other beaches were rocky or didn't have good waves, this one was just right. I knew we might have found the right one today when we parked and every where I looked people were getting out of their cars with boogie boards!

...

Everything is going very well out here... Although, this week Todd is in San Jose, California for some training thing. My girls are going to girl's camp.... And my Logan will be going to Arizona for an ortho appt and of course visiting my Dad and any friends that he can coordinate with. So, I am pouty this week... I don't like my family all being gone. I will only actually be alone for one night, but I love having them around all the time. )o:

Logan enjoying the view of our backyard from the Master balcony...

For Family Home evening a couple of months ago we did a taste test --- Which is better Angel Food Cake or Devil's Food cake. The results were mixed, but the girls felt inspired to create a 'mortal' cake... This was their creation. It did look a little like it might challenge our existence in the mortal state, but it actually tasted pretty good.

Yes, we all ate their creation and survived.

I had Indy hanging out with me and she saw the fruit bowl, got excited and jumped on to the bowl.... Yes, Indy claimed all the fruit in the bowl, she was so happy! Turkey butt bird.

We are VERY proud to say that Xia has finally decided that she wants to bathe herself! She had a great time splashing all over! Yay Xia!

Xia going to town in her little bath.

Yes, We have a Clean little Xia-baby! HOW CUTE!

This week Kayla and Krystin left for Girl's Camp. Krystin was over the moon with excitement. Kayla is not our great outdoor adventurer, but she was being brave, as they will be camping in cabins with bathrooms (and there will be showers there too). I hope everything is going well and they have an awesome time (will keep you posted). They will be back Thursday!

The dust is finally starting to settle

Ok, it has been very busy for the past couple weeks. I had forgotten how incredibly tedious moving can be. Especially, when you are in a place for more than 7 years, uhg!!! Todd and I are trying to learn to be a little less sentimental about everything... I mean it can't be bad that I have all the notes he gave me going back to high school, can it??!

Well, we made it - We are finally settling in to CA! It is still really strange to have the windows open all day and not turn on the a.c. Although, we have been told the 70-80 degree days will end in July and to brace ourselves for some warm weather. The kids laughed when they heard that, they were like, what 100 degrees, oh that's nothing, bring it on! (o:

I was looking for the kids, when we were still in AZand getting ready for the movers to come, and then I found them. Apparently, all three kids were exhausted and I found them all laying together on one of their mattresses. They thought they were pretty funny!

The child who never was on the phone now seems to have one glued to his ear.

After what seemed at least an eternity we finally made it to our new house, and we just barely beat the movers. This is a pic from upstairs looking down to the front door. I will post more pics later. We have an amazing view!!!

I had never seen the house before we arrived to move in, and I must say - I LOVE it! Todd did a great job! The kids all have huge rooms, they are so thrilled! (o:

Kayla's Room part 2 - sitting area

Krystin's Room - Part one

Krystin's sitting area. I had a hard time getting a good pic of it.

Logan's Room - he's the only one down stairs, so he gets to spend quality time with Angel.

Logan part 2: pretending to sleep on his sofa.

Of course after working tirelessly packing and cleaning, and then unpacking... I needed to give the children a chance to rejuvenate, so we took a break and went to the beach. It was a bootiful day, don't you think?! They are going to get even for this one I know it, but I couldn't resist!

Booterific!

Ok, yes, there are still boxes left to unpack, but we had to take some time to enjoy the silver lining a little...

We love you guys! Come visit anytime! I will post more pics of the house soon!
