Comic World 2012 - HK - Day 1

Our children LOVE Anime

All three of them...

Love it!

So, an event centered around dressing up as Anime' Characters,

Is beyond Heaven!

Comic World 

is the HK version of an Anime Expo.

It is a bit tricky though out here,

because it is NOT for the English speakers.

Even finding out about it was tricky,

and then getting tickets.  Oh My....

Our kids were the only white kids at the event.

A few teens spoke some English.

A couple spoke well.

The majority of people though, spoke Canto.

Our kids were sort of Celebrities!

Logan is a bit more camera shy,

but the girls loved hamming it up.

They said they felt like models.

Everyone thought they were twins too. LOL!

And kept telling them how beautiful they are, I agree!

They were asked to do a photo-shoot at the event

and were told they would be in a magazine 

(after they gave permission).

The photographer found them later 

and confirmed they would be in it.

Very cool.

We will definitely have to find copies!

Even if we won't be able to read it, LOL!  

They made some neat friends too!

We couldn't find the men's Cosplay costume store, we looked...

But, they hold this convention twice a year here, 

so we promised Logan we will find one or make a costume

and he will have a cool Costume by February!

I think he still looked adorable!

because getting there was a bit crazy

and we didn't want them to be late. (:

 By the way,

There are these little 'Coffee Houses'

out there that specialize in Cosplay Maids.

Apparently, they are a dating/escort service or something.

No touching is allowed on the date (sounds Geisha-ish).

They tried to recruit Krystin to be an escort!  OH MY!

I think NOT!

They made new friends!

Really though, when do you get that kind of opportunity?

 There were little game booths set up,

and the kids saw this one and thought of ME!

All three kids did their best to win me a Baby Llama!!!

They came home with this sweet little one for me!

Seriously, doesn't get much better than that!
