Foreign Fruit: Musk Melon

Today's Foreign Fruit is:  the Taiwan Musk Melon

When I hear the term 'Musk' I think of the really SMELLY wolves in the zoo.
Not an appetizing thought, in the least.
Fortunately, these babies did NOT smell like the wolves.

This is what they normally look like...

This is what ours looked like:
Hmn.  Not sure why it flipped sideways, but you get the idea.
One thing you learn while shopping out here, is to minimize the bulk of what you get.
Everything you buy, you have to CARRY home.
It is crazy how heavy the groceries get.

The melon was VERY ripe.  It was so juicy and delicious.
It was gone in minutes.

I can't believe how many different types of melons there are out here.

I had NO idea.
