Seaview League Finals!

2011

Last Year, 

it was a record 105 degrees on League Final Day!

This year, a sweet 72...

Beautiful weather.

Perfect!

This season has been REALLY tuff on both my kids.

Krystin and Logan have been battling injuries.  :(

Logan was only able to run 4 races,

Krystin, today makes her third.

Literally, been a painful season.

Logan won 1st PLACE in League as a Sophomore, last year.

It was 105.  It was crazy day.

and they NEVER Recognized the League Champs (only Varsity).

This season was less about the medals, and more about healing and doing well!

Along with the fact that Logan has a 6th period class.

Cross Country is 6th period,

so he is only able to train with his team twice a week.

Crazy!

 He was feeling pretty decent.

 He ran hard, and strong!

Even when the opponents boxed him in!

 and 

without hardling training at all, all season

and with injuries...

He finished 6th in the LEAGUE!

The top 7 earn MEDALS!

AMAZING!

 They had a watering spot for the finishers!

Yes, Todd and I were there cheering!

 This is only Krystin's 3rd race back!

She has only been able to train with the team for the last few weeks!

 She took off so hard!

We were afraid she would run her legs off!

She was running in the top 4, for the beginning.

 She held strong!

 Finished SOLID!

 and didn't even look worse for the wear!

She took 4 mins off her time from her last race!

And finished 8th for Capo, by only a fraction of a second.

She was ON FIRE.

One thing I LOVE about XC!

The positive interaction with other teams!

Finally, Logan gets a little recognition!
