London!

Todd's work schedule is crazy....

You just never know where it will lead.

Well, about 3 weeks ago.
He was asked if he 'might' be available to go to London.
(As opposed to another grueling trip to INDIA, sounded GREAT!)

As long as it wasn't over Krystin's birthday,
he said, Yes!

He didn't know if was going or not going for sure
until just a week before he was to leave.

Long-and-short of it...
He ended up being needed in London and brought ME with! (:

We just arrived this evening, a bit jet lagged.

We left Friday around 9:45pm, Cali time.
Long day.

Ziggy and Zoey were excited to get to go to the UK!
Todd, literally drove an hour south of our house from where he is currently working.
Picked me up,
and we headed another hour to LAX.

Exhausted.  Yah, just a little.
Finally, we were on the plane!
Sweet.
Two seats, alone together, to cuddle and snore!
Except, for some reason I can't sleep for more than 4 hours on a plane?
Well, compared to flights to Hong Kong (16ish hours - if nonstop)
or
India (24 hours)
10.5 hours - CAKE!

Only down side, is always the time difference.
It was 8am, Cali time when we landed, 4pm UK time.
By the time we got out of the airport it was dark.

Todd was funny.  He said to me,
"Now we know how Vampires feel."
LOL!  So true.

These pictures are blurry, camera doesn't like dark pics.
The cab ride took about an hour to get to the Hotel.
We are staying in Paddington, which is in Central London

There are some perks to Todd's frequent travel.
They upgraded his room to a Suite!
and Yes - it  is indeed SWEET!

Strangely,
They had the TV playing when we came in.
It as advertising Harry Potter,
so as we entered we could hear the Harry Potter theme song...

Oh, and by the way we were STARVING.
Apparently, Virgin Atlantic doesn't really feed you.

So, we cleaned up and ventured out!

Entrance of our Hotel.

Flying all night, and traveling, and having your schedule turned around
makes your tummy a little off..
So, what did we think would be the BEST choice for a first meal here?

Well, a super benign meal of Fish and Chips of course!

 Yah.
Fish was HUGE.
 and
Sooo Good.
Even though, they have NO CLUE what TarTar sauce is.
I made my pic smaller, so my fish appears smaller.
You know, that way the fact that I ate it doesn't count as much.

And those of you who were wondering if Paddington Bear was there?
Well, he was, but was sleeping.

Paddington Station is attached to our hotel.
It is amazing what you can find there.

(M&S, the client that Todd is meeting with)
 Happy Pigeons.
Where IS the pigeon lady?
I need to get some Tuppence!

Where all the trains meet.
Blurry, ugh.

See the Hilton entrance.
and of course, Starbucks.
 Surprisingly, Krispy Kreme?!

Well, that is our trip so far.
We are currently sitting in our hotel room.
Todd is finishing up some work,
and I am blogging to YOU! (:

Cheers!
