Happy Birthday Kayla

Kayla's 18th Birthday!

In our family we have a couple Birthday traditions.

First, after the birthday person goes to sleep, we decorate.

(we usually mean me, especially on a school/work night)

Second, We celebrate FIRST thing in the morning, before everyone leaves for the day.

Even if Logan, Krystin, and Daddy have to leave by 6am...

It doesn't feel like a birthday without a little celebration to start off the day!

So, even though Kay's first class wasn't until 10:30,

She didn't complain about getting up at 5am... (:

Although, she did promptly go back to sleep at 6am

yah, we were all sleepy

Kayla had a huge Math test on her birthday, rude!

Another tradition.

The birthday person gets to pick Dinner.

Kayla chose Chevy's Mexican Restaurant, 

as it has been a tradition since she turned 2.

and 

She picked a homemade funfetti cake!

Of course we were all so full from dinner

 that we were barely able to eat a small slice, 

but it is an imperative on a birthday to have cake!
