before the dance, excited to go
Last night she attended the Winter Formal dance, with a group of friends.,
They all met up at one friend's house and caravaned out to dinner and then to the dance.
Which was held at Club Phoenix (in Anaheim).
I am not going to lie, when I read club Phoenix, the first thing I thought was -
"Wow, Phoenix that is a LONG drive."
All of the sudden, I was back in Az for a minute...
Anaheim is still a 25 minute drive,
so I was VERY grateful that a parent was caravaning them around!
I don't think I could have handled the idea of a teen driving my baby, and she can't drive anyone until she is 17 (California state law).
Thank YOU California for that law!
Anyhow, I armed her with a camera.
Told her I loved her.
Said prayers for her safety, as always...
and sent her on her way...
