Sunset Cruise...

(be warned - picture overload to follow)

I am always looking for ways to have fun with the children, and also instill in them a LOVE and passion for life...   So, when I received a groupon offer, with a deal on a Sunset (whale/dolphin watching) Cruise for about the same price as a movie and popcorn with the family - I jumped at the offer!

I booked the Sunset cruise a while ago, and with the last two weeks rainy/cold weather I was a little worried. However, today couldn't have been more perfect.  It was about 85 degrees on land, and a nice chilly temp on the boat.  Perfect!

The Cruise set out from  Dana Wharf
(which is only 10 mins from the kids school)

It was a bit crazy getting to the Wharf by 3:30pm...  I didn't realize the girl's cross country team would be practicing at a park today, and wouldn't return until 3:15pm.  That is cutting it too close for me, the neurotically early person that I am.
I mean NO ONE wants to "Miss the BOAT!"
(Punny, I know)
So, to make sure we were on time, I picked Krystin up on location, quickly grabbed Logan and Kayla and met Todd at the wharf!   We arrived half an hour early! YAY!

Welcome to the Wharf!

Since we were EARLY - we had time for Ice Cream!
Yum!  Oh, and there were like only 12 flavors, yet we each picked a different flavor!

We loved the feathered greeters!

This cutie - Even greeted us with a bow!

Finally we were off!

We watched, and waited, and watched for sea creatures!

Some of us slept, not really!

What is it Todd?

and watched and waited...

The sun began to lower in the sky...

and then!!!!
We saw the most amazing thing!
TONS of DOLPHINS!!!

They were magical to watch!!!
There so many Dancing, playing, flipping in the air together.
Magical!

Then we headed back and
the kids entertained each other
(as usual)

Good Night Sun...

One more stop ....
Pedros Tacos for dinner!

 Bonus:

Did you know that this type of retainer can make it through the washer and dryer,
and only need a slight adjustment?
Is it a sign/warning if your cell phone decides to freeze up in the middle of the night on YOUR Birthday?
and the only way to get it to go away is to take battery out!...
Just because this makes me smile...
