To celebrate Kayla's 17th Birthday
We took her to a very special,
Opening Night,
Presentation of
Peter Pan
Seemed appropriate, at an age on the cusp of adulthood.
I had read great things about this performance, that is performed in a tent.
Before the show they had a special 'outside' area that was an extension to the tent set up where you could have dinner, visit the candy shop (of course), and buy souvenirs.
Pre-show area
in their seats, with treats!
The stage, the roof 'area' was actually a 360 screen.
So, much fun!

It is a kin to a 360 live stage meets IMAX.

It was truly an amazing performance,
and the kids (as well as Todd and I) Loved it!
And, the girl's didn't just love it, because Peter Pan was actually played
by a decent looking young man, not a woman!
It was interesting to Watch Peter Pan, after not really thinking much about the story for many years. It makes you re-assess your feelings of adulthood, and the innocence that is (or should be) childhood, and how anything seems possible- and even magical.
All I can say is,
"I do believe in Fairies, I do!"
Happy Birthday my Sweet Kayla!
We are so happy that you were born!

Bonus: There was a building adjacent to the 'tent', and there were people 'dancing' on the wall... It was very interesting to see.
