Foreign Fruit: Jack Fruit

This is the THIRD time we have bought this fruit to try.
Sadly, the other two times we forgot about it in the fridge... oops!

This time, however, Krystin remembered!

These little babies are interesting indeed.

They are the Malaysian Jack Fruit
They have a slightly sweet scent to them.

The look a little strange on the outside.

When you cut them open there is the HUGE seed, but not juice or mess.

Their texture is soft, yet almost rubbery...

How do they taste?

They aren't bad!  They taste somewhat like they smell.
Almost like bubble gum.

Krystin liked them.  Todd and I didn't mind the fruit. Kayla however wasn't not thrilled.

Ember wouldn't give it a chance...
