Holiday Break with Logan

Some random pics from Logan's almost 3 weeks with us in Hong Kong...  Sadly, Krystin got sick the day he arrived, and Logan got sick shortly after.  The two of them were coughing up a storm for the majority of the time.   That did not keep them from having fun!

Last view of Hawaii...

Lizard loves to cuddle.
When I first arrived home, she jumped into my hands, climbed up and pushed her face into my cheek.
So sweet. Love her.

Duffy was less thrilled by her using him as a launch pad.

We recently HAD to switch to a different Lory Life Powder.  Our birds eat Nekton and Life Powder as their main diet.  The Life Powder that we have been buying forever is no longer available. :(   The new life powder is not as good.  We noticed that Xia was having some issues with over productive skin cells on her feet, which can indicate a Vitamin deficiency.  We took her to the vet to make sure it wasn't anything else.

Todd was trying to convince Z that going in that little plastic box would be FUN!  LOL, as if.
Vet checked her out, and agreed Vitamin deficiency.  Indy seemed to be doing better, but she eats more other foods and less powder.   Z lives on her powder.

I started mixing other things in the powder and so far Z's skin is looking better.  Here's to hoping!

I did say it was freezing when we got home.  Honey chose to lay under her cushion with her toys.

Poor sick Krystin.  What makes you feel better?
A lizard and a cuddly pup.

Hun felt really badly for her.

Add another pup, and smiles returned!

This is what Jetlag looks like.

and this.

Indy does NOT tolerate jetlag.

I love the full moon.

I was so happy, albeit cold, to be able to wear sweats and thermals!

I love that my kids are always actively engaged in enlightenment.
Logan was studying his Esperanto book wherever we went.
He is determined to promote this language.
He even made an educational tool in his programming class for it.

Keeping warm and being silly.

Transformers are in Hong Kong.  It is true.

I did say it was cold, right?
Honey kept laying right in front of our little space heater.
I am actually surprised she didn't ignite.

Seriously, the dog loves the space heater.

Lily chose to use her humans for warmth.

Chinglish, posing as English

Tender Heart.  Sounds like a steak.

This little one is so smiley.

Logan had a very fuzzy pillow while he was here.

It was so cold that we weren't taking the dogs for a walk.
Lily had had enough!
Their leashes are in the bag behind her.  She ran over there grabbed the bag with her mouth tossed it around, and then started BARKING and growling at us and then grabbed it again.
Yes.  We took them.  I am weak.

The dogs wouldn't let Logan out of their site.

Ducky!

Logan is going for his 'own' look.

Just stop being so cute, Lily!

Another furry pillow.

AGREED!

Darn cute baby bird. Love her.

Logan spent  time with his friends.  :)

The air has been yucky lately.

This is what it is like when the air is less smoggy.
even when it is dark.

Krystin's latest art work she is working on....
Emotional and realistic.

These two were engaged in great conversations.  It was cute.

Logan was also trying to help Krystin with some math on the train.
No wasted time.

Quail eggs.  How many would be needed for a decent omelet?
No clue and don't want to find out.

Do you see that?  Look for the white fluff.
Lily was sitting on the blanket.  Sweet little Indy was sitting on my lap...
Then Indy saw Lily jumped off my lap ran toward Lily, and Lily hid!

They really have a different spin on oatmeal out here.
It is like living in an alternate universe half the time.
Similar to our universe, but not.

My clone men.
I am so glad we didn't name Logan, Todd JR.
I mean he was born on Todd's birthday as it is.
Look related?

The last night before Logan went home he wanted to go to Temple street.
It was New Year's Day, so there were parades.
Seems there is always something to celebrate downtown.

Anyhow, some random shots of life while Logan was here.
