Birthday Boys' Junk

We celebrated Logan and Todd's Birthday's on a Junk on the Sea....

I was a little worried that the weather would be TOO Hot!
It was predicted to be in the 90s F, and with the humidity that is too HOT!

Well, it was warm, and SUPER sunny (more sun than I knew possible for out here), but it was actually perfect for being on the water, since we did go in the water!  The ocean this time of year in Hong Kong is the perfect temperature.  So nice!

Here are some pics from the day!

The wind is blocking the view, but Todd and I brought and prepared all the food on the boat.  Let me tell you it was an interesting experience just buying the food.  It wasn't exciting or anything, just chips, snacks, treats, and sandwich makings...  But we had to go to something like 5 stores all over HK to find what we were looking for, and then get it to and from the boat (an hour a way by cab).  We were definitely missing Costco and my Jeepy baby!

Of course the squids were there, but we had to keep a close eye on them.  Especially the little orange girl.  She always tries to jump in!

Logan took a short break from fun, to contemplate the formulas of the universe.

The fun was so great, that some couldn't handle it.

Logan - back and ready for more!

More victims of fun overload.

Hong Kong is truly beautiful.

The second story of this Junk was VERY high, but that didn't slow the kids (or Todd) from readily jumping off of the top.   These guys did a domino jump.

Yes!  They all made it!

Logan then joined them, in his shorts!

Kayla needed to do a model pose first!

Oh, and there was Karaoke ...

We brought the game L.C.R..
Krystin made sure to get it going! (We brought candy as prizes).

This was the sandy beach that took the boat about 45 mins to get too.
We swam from the boat to the beach and played in the sand.
Wonderful.

Sorry you are on your own. LOL

I had put an order in for some thunderstorms to cool the day off.
When we arrived in the morning and there was bright sunshine, I thought my order had been ignored!
I was wrong we had two brief, but wonderful rain storms pass over us, and cool things off for a bit!

L.C.R. grew in popularity!

Todd was intrigued!

While Hong Kong has a bakery like every ten feet,
the treats (cakes) taste like they have NO sugar in them...
So, I made a couple cakes from U.S. cake mix, with U.S. frosting, YUMMY!
We know how to do sugar, that is for sure!

Happy Birthday to YOU two!

Logan sang Karaoke!

If you have a chance to try Hong Kong, I highly recommend it.
It is quite enchanting!

I have to say Logan's 'adult' friends were wonderful.
They were  a pleasure to spend the day with...

The couple that own the junk were SUPER cute too.
Their grown son works with them, and he was awesome!

Happy 41st Birthday to Todd!!!
and
A Most Happy 18th (you are now legal) Birthday to Logan!!!
