Last Night in HONG KONG

Dear Children,
Tonight Daddy and I say Good Bye to Hong Kong
Daddy finished his project with this client today (finally),
and we are heading home!

It has been VERY Hot,
I think I mentioned that before,
but, just in case
VERY HOT and HUMID
soooo
We haven't gone very far from the office/hotel this week
For this last night though,
we decided we should venture out, one last time
and say Good bye to Hong Kong properly.

First though,
on the 22nd Floor, there are 'swallow's nests'
Ok, are they really swallows, not sure, but they look like swallows
and we have swallows at home, so we are going with that.
They are swallows, Ok?! (:

The laundry machines are on the 22nd floor also, btw
So, while we were waiting for our laundry to cycle (last weekend)
(and yes you do laundry when you are gone for 2 weeks)
we immensely enjoyed watching these amazing birds
dive, swoop, play, and take care of the babies in the nest.
We didn't have our camera with us at the time.

So, before we set out tonight
We ventured up to the 22nd floor to say Good Bye
and
I took a short video of them.
We were trying not to let them see us.

Then, we decided to head back to Discovery Bay for our last night.
There is a bus that picks us up from the Hotel, and it is a shortish ride.
If you were to ask where could I see us live, if we were to live anywhere in Hong Kong, it would be Discovery Bay.  I think they designed it for us Westerners to feel at home.
There are little American and British children running and playing everywhere.
Well, and they have
food that is NOT NOODLES,
Sorta Mexican FOOD!
Yay!

Ok, and the view is kinda nice! (:
 Zigs and Zoey loved it!

We sat, talked, took in the view, reflected on  HK
and discussed how WE CAN'T wait to get home
and
SEE the three of YOU!

There is one extra perk to being in Discovery Bay at night
Well, it is RIGHT next to Sunny Bay
Just across the water and over a hill
 and in Sunny Bay
is
Disneyland
and even in Hong Kong
Disney has Fireworks at night
So, while we missed fireworks at home
and on the 4th
We did get to see some tonight
Yah, the pics didn't work out well

 Discovery Bay at night, beautiful.

Then, it was time to go.

The DB bus ready to take us back to our hotel,
this one last time!
(Even if there was a little girl screaming her head off for who knows why, it was still a nice ride)

Now, we are off to bed!
First thing in the  morning we are headed to the Airport
and then just a short 18+ hour journey home!

Kayla, Logan, and Krystin
We love you!
We miss you!
We can't wait to see you soon! (:

With Love,

Mommy and Daddy
