Happy 4th of July

Todd & I love the 4th of July!
It is one of our FAVORITE Holidays!!!

A day spent with family, BBQs, and celebrating the freedom that we enjoy as Americans!
We, also, happen to LOVE fireworks!

We love it!

The downside to 'International' Travel during the 4th is no 4th of July celebration in Hong Kong.  :(   RUDE?!  I mean there has to be at least 2 or 3 other Americans out here right now?!  I will say though, the international travel does give you a greater 'reason' to celebrate the significance and meaning of the 4th.  The freedoms and privileges we enjoy, because we are Americans.  The privilege that was fought for, for us, with the blood, tears and lives of many BRAVE soldiers, and the support of their families.   Soldiers that fought not for glory or power, but for our freedom to live life as we see fit.   Traveling to other countries really gives you a heightened appreciation for what a privilege this really is.   It also makes you realize how many Americans truly are wasting the GREAT opportunity that they have to accomplish anything that they see fit or at least the opportunity to TRY!  They don't seem to fully understand that freedom is a PRIVILEGE, not an entitlement on this planet, unfortunately.

What a blessing freedom is.
  What a blessing education is.
What a blessing it is to have free thought.
What a blessing it is to be able to choose your path in life.

So, America, Happy Birthday!
We love You!

It seemed un-American to not have a hamburger on the 4th!
So, we did! (:
 Yes, in our room.
No fireworks, and missing the kids LOTS, but at least Daddy had a little company in this foreign land, and there was NO MSG on the burger!

Happy 4th!

(Oh, and I have been avoiding MSG the last few days, and I feel MUCH better!
Thank HEAVENS!)
