Hong Kong - Disneyland

You knew there wasn't really a choice, right?!   If there IS a Disneyland nearby - WE HAD TO GO....

Yes, we knew there was only about 3 real rides, and it was small - but DISNEY!! (:  Woot!

---  But, Wait!  First before we do the Disney tour...  I forgot, I wanted to share something with you...

This is a picture of the return gondola ride, right after we got on looking back.  You can see a little of the extremely long line (the standard line coils upon it self over and over where you can't see had to be at least a 3hour wait).   We were on the glass bottom one which was much shorter at an hour (not a big price difference?)....

Anyhow, look at this pic....
See anything that reminds you of India?
Look closely...
Ok, fine let me show you!
Yes, there was a COW!
Free range....
FLIBBIDITYGIBBIT!
Only cow I have seen so far, but there it is!

Oh, and are you a little curious what the tour sounds like in Mandarin?

Back to HK Disney - YAY!!!!  (Did I say how GRATEFUL I am for a hubby that likes to play as much as I do? - Cause, I really am!)
Our day started off with a bus ride, to the train station...
The train seems more serpentine in it's movements every time we ride on it..
Smooth, silent (mostly), winding.....
Train to Disney train....
Yes, Disney has their own TRAIN!
We were not excited - at all?!
:p
Seriously, a Disney train - how cool is that?
Look at the handles - Mickey Mouse!

Welcome to Hong Kong Disney!  (:
Cute little Asian girls with their Disney garb on.
First stop, always at Disney!
The Toilet. :p
It was like American Disney, with an Asian flare.

Love it when people do random things when I take a pic!
Totally, makes me laugh.  No clue, what she is doing, but my best guess was that Tomorrowland was using it's Special force field ray thing to try and pull her in, and she was resisting...
The MAIN Attraction
(well for us!)
Space Mountain was VERY similar to our own SM...
The ride did have a sightly different track....
Not that Todd and I have the it memorized.

MMMM Disney snacks, right?!
Well, not so sure.
Fish balls.
Korean squid jerky
and Fish (with a tail attached) on a stick...
The Cotton Candy and popcorn looked good (didn't get it, but it looked good)

It IS a SMALL World After all!!

Oh, and they had a LOT of Character greeting places.
Todd was sooo Happy that Tink was there.
I SO wanted to get a pic of Todd with Tink, but they had just closed the line!
She was quite adorable.
It was warm and sunny

The Fantasy land Castle was awesome.
It is covered in these shimmering icicle looking things.
I am not sure if it is always, or if it is to celebrate
HK Disney's 5th year!

Lots and LOTS of performances and parades
(probably cause there are only like 3 rides)
YAY!   A YUMMY snack!
How CUTE is this Minnie!?
Ziggy and Zoey really wanted a pic with her,
but they were a little scared, so I sat with them.
Todd surfing on the Tarzan island ferry
Tarzan's island was similar to Tom Sawyers,
except of course Tarzan was there

Thank You Hong Kong for having a Disneyland!

Then, after a long fun day.   We headed back and washed Todd's laundry in the hotel coin machines til 11pm.

Good times!
