Hong Kong Fooding

A yummy treat that we love out here are Mango Mochis.
Well, while Todd and I were in New York, the girls mastered the skill to make them from scratch!
So CUTE! I was totally impressed.

Logan thought that since he was in Hawaii (AKA the US) he wasn't going to be taking part of Chinese New Year festivities.  Well, he was incorrect, and he has been mostly eating Vegetarian since...
In their eating hall this was greeting him.

The girls also have been making Onigiri.
Rice ball thingy.
Kayla even made a bento box for lunch!

Sometime Asia thinks they can pull-off a Western snack.
We thought maybe they could too!
Oh, no... No... Really NO!
Yes.  We love sugar in the West, but really sugar in a CHEDDAR, very Cheddar cracker.
SO SICK.  IT was the sharpest cheddar snack that was SUPER sugary.  ODD!

I love that our produce comes from all over the world.
Bell Peppers from Israel?

There is an 'organic' trend going out here too.
I don't know why, but Compost Grown sounds gross to me.
That is a selling point?

I love the confusing food items too.
Thank you for the English translations.

I have copied the ingredients to help solve the mystery.

There are also many other mysteries when we are downtown.
Now I suppose if learned to read Chinese we could solve a lot of these mysteries, or could we?

In other news, Todd is thinking about trying to be a burglar.
I am kidding.
If he was, I wouldn't post on my blog about it!

He just has some travel coming up that is going to be cold, so I got him a hat to protect his face!
