So... Yes, Josh came all the way from Sunny So. Cal...
He lives about 20 mins from Disneyland, true.
But, being the Disney lovers that we are, we had to give him the HK Disney experience.
It was actually extra-cool, because it was Chinese New Year, so they gave everyone a Gold Packet with a large, yummy chocolate coin as they entered! YAY!
Todd was VERY excited!
Todd and I shared this view most of the day.
Luckily, the are all adorable and sweet!
Well, there was this view too...
All I have to say is WHY?!!
Why do men feel the need to FREE their bellies out here.
No. JUST NO. PUT THAT away!
Yummy Chinese without MSG!
Thank you Disneyland!
(See, Disney is magical.)
the boys were being crazy! ha.
Ok. Maybe it is just my kids.
Josh put an end to it.
Todd wanted to sneak over the fence.
Josh was a little afraid of the Pirate.
but humored me...
cutest little princess!
my kids are NOT dramatic at all, really...
Oh, and we had to make sure Josh had our favorite Haagandaaaz Ice Cream bar that they don't have in the states! So good. Come visit and we will buy you one too!
mmmm, yummy!
Don't worry pets were not neglected...
Oh, and Todd got some special award because he said Dragon Horse Energy to the workers to their Happy Chinese New Year phrase. It was cute!
Ok, so every culture has their own 'rules' that guide them. Well, in China apparently waiting orderly in lines is an optional and usually undesirable thing, which makes Disney more interesting. While we were waiting in line for our favorite ride, Grizzly gulch, HOARDS of people kept CUTTING. We tried to make a wall to block them, but they are tricky too. You will have one person sneak by (Like a mom), and then 14 more people will say, "oh, I am with her." Crazy making. Well, the line was about 45 mins (with cutters), and we were nearing our turn and the ride stopped! Happened to catch a video while they were announcing it!
They just told everyone to come back. Forced everyone out of line. Not very cool indeed. Luckily, we had Queennie (Logan's date who speaks Canto), and Todd who was charming them with his Dragon horse energy statement, and a worker sneakily gave us 6 passes to board first when the ride re-opened. Which it did hours later! Take that cutters! ha ha ha ha ha. I am mostly teasing...
Ok, one more thing from the day... Totally, made me laugh. They all had their Capo color running shoes on.
Black and Yellow, black and yellow...
Can take the kids out of Capo, but can't take Capo out of the kids.
