Integrity is a virtue that I feel should be prized in all of us.... However, it seems to be something our society really is missing more and more. In fact, I really doubt that most people truly understand the meaning of this word.
Here is a definition that I like:
"In western ethics, integrity is regarded as the quality of having an intuitive sense of honesty and truthfulness in regard to the motivations for one's actions."
A intuitive sense of honesty and truthfulness in regard to the motivations for ones actions... HMN... Makes sense!
What a noble society we would live in, if Integrity were the center to our focus, rather than the "Gimme, Gimme, what can I get for free" culture that we have...
Let us teach our children Integrity through our example and change the world....
