The Final End of Year Awards

Krystin's End of Year Awards

Todd and I were able to fly in for the awards her graduation.
We wouldn't miss it for the world!

Krystin is probably one of the hardest working, most motivated, dedicated people I have ever known. She does not ever put any less than 100% into anything that she does, in every subject.

The Awards Assembly mostly focuses on Athletics and Academic performance, which is sad because there are so many other areas that can and should be recognized I believe.  Literature, art, etc.

For this last High School Award Ceremony that Todd and I will have the privilege of attending, we were able to get there early and get our front row seats (as per my usual obsessively early thing I do).

Krystin was awarded:

MVP:  Cross Country

MVP:  Track
(With three gold medals in the International Track finals no one could touch her!)

She was surprised to win:

ATHLETE of the YEAR!!!

She cried, we cried, all tears of joy...
Not only did she accomplish excellence and did so astoundingly,
she did it with her parents out of the country for the more part of the previous two months...

She, also, earned the Principal's Honor list!
The highest GPA honor list!

They did not recognize Awards for excellence that were given in individual classes the day before, but she was awarded an Award for Excellence in English Literature as well!

We couldn't be more proud of her accomplishments!

She is truly an amazing, hardworking person, that we are so grateful to call our baby!

Great Job, Krystin!
We Love You SOOO MUCH!
