Todd has a treasured childhood (and high school friend).
His name is Doug. (:
Todd and I have been together since high school,
so tales of fun times and happy memories
with this friend have been a staple for many years...
After high school the boys became men
focused on creating their adult lives, careers and families
and their paths went in different directions...
It wasn't until recently
(in the last couple of years)
they were able to reconnect.
Not as young boys, or teens, but Mature men with families
(with amazing wives, ha!)
and teens of their own...
Now their two families live just a couple of hours apart.
One thing that they never envisioned, I would bet,
was that their friendship would translate in to the friendship of their children.
Logan had the privilege of attending a Formal Church Dance
with Doug's Adorable daughter Mikaela...

My Mom happened to be working a mile away from Mikaela's house,
and lives only blocks from the actual event!
So, she was able to spend the night
with Doug, his sweet wife Chris,
their cute boy (who had to endure all of our silly adult banter for hours) and me!
And then finally,
They were RID of us and were able to get their groove on!
It was so much fun!
Only bummer, Todd couldn't be with us!
