Hong KONG, Again?!
Wait... Wasn't the LAST trip supposed to be THE LAST TRIP to Hong Kong...???
Well, apparently not!
Todd's company requested his onsite presence this 'once' more,
to make sure that everything goes smoothly as they finalize the last few pieces...
Hmn, starting to see a trend...
Well, he was SUPPOSED to fly out a week-ago-tonight...
(and be there for two weeks)
However, the client is an airline (remember?), as such he flies essentially standby.
Which has given him the opportunity for Business class each previous flight, the upside...
Well, apparently, summer is upon us and getting a flight on their airline
at the moment is near impossible. Well, impossible on standby for sure.
We went to the airport last Monday, to kiss my love good bye...
After waiting and driving, not even a single econ seat available.
They were oversold 10+ people for both of the possible flights???
Keep in mind the flights leave at midnight and 1:35am,
and LAX is 55 miles from our house...
so, we got home around 2am on a Monday night.
with my Love...
However, they STILL thought he should come out! RUDE!
So after a couple of days, the client realized that ALL the flights for the next week were over booked and allowed Todd to actually purchase a ticket to fly out...
Which just seems silly to me, because at that point he had to purchase a ticket on a different airline? Hmn, where is the logic? Yah, don't get me going on the ridiculousness that I find that to be...
So, the upside. They took sooo long to figure it out, that I was able to keep Todd for an extra 5 NIGHTS! Can't complain about that. He flew out on Saturday, and will return Friday night.
The END date is Friday.
Wow, this international travel is grueling...
and the time difference 15 hours in the future, man oh man, rough.
Can't they send him to Canada or Mexico?
Anyhow, before he left he was able to attend the Track Banquet Night!
Congrats to Logan & Krystin for a great Season!
We are now in the last FULL Week of school!
Next week, finals and Kayla's Graduation!
I CAN'T believe my little baby is going to be graduating?
She can't be old enough?!
